December. 7th exhibition of the Union of Russian Artists opens in Moscow: Lev Bakst, Terror Antiquus; works and designs for stage sets by Benua, Bilibin, Dobuzhinskii, Iuon, Petrov-Vodkin, Rerikh, Serebriakova; portraits by Valentin Serov. More radical developments in Russian art were represented by such artists as Larionov, Kuznetsov and Iakulov.
