October. Paris. Diaghilev organises an exhibition of Russian painting and sculpture of the previous two centuries, as well as a selection of icons from the collection of Nikolai Petrovich Likhachev, at the Salon d'Automne: works by Levitskii, Vrubel', Serov, Korovin, Maliavin, Somov, Bakst, Rerikh, Kuznetsov, Borisov-Musatov, Larionov and Grabar'. The exhibition was subsequently opened in Berlin and Venice.
