The exhibition (in March) included: Nikolai Iaroshenko, Kochegar (The Stoker), Zakliuchennyi (The Prisoner); Ivan Kramskoi, Sozertsatel' (The Contemplative), portrait of Nikolai Nekrasov; Vasilii Polenov, Moskovskii dvorik (Moscow Corner) (displayed in Moscow); Il'ia Repin exhibited with the Peredvizhniki for the first time: Muzhichek iz robkikh (The Timid Peasant), The Archdeacon; Konstantin Savitskii, Vstrecha ikony (Welcoming the Icon); Ivan Shishkin, Rozh (Rye).
