Sarah Dadswell was the recipient of the AHRB-funded postgraduate studentship attached to the project. Her topic of research for her PhD is in the area of Russian Futurist Theatrical Innovation. The focus of this research is interdisciplinary, with an emphasis as much on stage design as on directorial/textual innovation. She is co-supervised by Professor Robert Russell and Dr Susan Reid at Sheffield. As of October 2004 Sarah Dadswell is Research Assistant in the School of Performance Arts, University of Exeter, where she is a core member of an AHRB-funded project on British Asian Theatre.

We welcome applications to undertake research related to this project at either Exeter or Sheffield. Further details about postgraduate research at Exeter and Sheffield are available from the School of Modern Languages website at the University of Exeter and graduate programme site for the Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies at the University of Sheffield respectively. Alternatively, please contact one of the directors of the project for further details (Dr Carol Adlam or Professor Robert Russell).
